Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5 November 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Study Abroad Advice (studyabroadadvice.com) collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information. The website is operated by Eduvisor Pathways Private Limited, F 08E, Galaxy Blue Sapphire Plaza, Greater Noida West (UP), PIN 201309, India (“we”, “us”). We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, as they apply to us.
What information we collect
When you fill in our enquiry or contact form, we collect only what you choose to give us: your name, mobile number, email address (optional), whether you are a student or a parent, the country and level of study you are considering, when you plan to start, how you heard about us, and any message you write. If you call or message us on WhatsApp, we see your phone number and the content of the conversation.
Like most websites, we may also collect basic technical information, such as your browser, device type, approximate location and the pages you view, using cookies and similar tools. We may use analytics services such as Google Analytics or Google Search Console to understand how the site is used and to improve it. We do not collect your Aadhaar number, passport number, bank details or card details through this website, and you should not send them through our forms.
Why we use it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, to contact you by call, WhatsApp or email about courses, countries, costs, applications and visas, to keep a record of your enquiry, and to improve our website and guidance. We do not send you marketing messages unrelated to your enquiry without your consent.
Your consent
By submitting a form on this website you agree to our collecting and using your information as described here, and to being contacted by our counsellor on call, WhatsApp or email about your enquiry. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us (see “Contact us” below). Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
Students under 18
Under Indian law, a person under 18 is a child. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to submit the form or to give their consent. We do not knowingly collect information about a child without the consent of the child’s parent or guardian. If a parent or guardian submits the form for a child, they confirm that they are entitled to do so.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the website and handle your enquiry:
- Service providers, such as our website host and the form and email services that deliver your message to us. They may store information on servers in India or in other countries.
- WhatsApp, if you choose to message us there. Your use of WhatsApp is governed by WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy.
- Universities, colleges or other organisations, only if you ask us to apply or enquire on your behalf.
- Government or law enforcement authorities, where the law requires us to.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them to make the site work and, through analytics tools, to see which pages are useful. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as well.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or the law requires us to keep them longer. After that we delete them or remove anything that identifies you.
How we protect it
We take reasonable security steps to protect your information, including secure (HTTPS) connections on this website and limiting access to the people who need it. No online system is completely secure. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will act as the law requires, including informing you and the authorities where necessary.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a summary of the personal information we hold about you and who we have shared it with, to have inaccurate information corrected or updated, to have your information erased when it is no longer needed, to withdraw your consent, to nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become incapacitated, and to have any complaint dealt with. Write to us at the email address below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
